NEW FULL BAND ALBUM "Yay!" COMING OUT THIS JANUARY 2023!

Brainchild of lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist Matthew Green, The Colour Green is indie rock pop, singer-songwriter, big crowd-friendly ear-candy songs enhanced by band member BeTh isBell’s soundscaping electric guitar work and backing vocals. These are radio-friendly tunes with big hooks and fun crowd sing-alongs!

The band’s new self-released debut album “Yay!” features Humboldt County drummer Sam Kaplan-Good (Object Heavy) on drums and Cody Fowler (OKC, Horse Thief) on bass guitar. It also features guest appearances by John Vonengeln on violin on Surprising Realization and Yeah Yeah Yeah, Will Schmit on saxophone on Dance & Sing and Framed (Long Version), and Emily Joy Caffrey adding ethereal backing vocals to Jesus, Framed, Surprising Realization, Portuguese, and Dance & Sing. The new indie rock pop album, which drops nationally in January, 2023, will be available on all major new music online platforms to kick off the new year!

Matthew Green is the main songwriter, writing catchy indie rock-pop progressions and ear-candy melodies. He has been the frontperson of several notable bands including More Than Caffeine and The Velvet Fog. Beth Isbell was the frontperson and guitarist for the band BeThisBell, selected to perform at the prestigious CMJ Music Festival in NYC in 2015 following the release of the band’s psychedelic punk album “We Are The Gods!” Beth was in the first class of bachelor's degree graduates at ACM@UCO, a contemporary music college run by The Flaming Lips in OKC, OK.

The new album Yay! was recorded at Bongo Boy Studio in McKinleyville, CA, and engineered, mixed, and mastered by Dominic Romano. The album's Producer was Beth Isbell. Executive Producer: Matthew Green. The new album will be available at local music stores and online at TheColourGreenMusic.com and your favorite online music platform.
